The museums will host a range of special activities and family shows. These include ‘Simple Machines – An Inventor’s Cookbook’ which introduces wheels, pulleys and gears in a fun and engaging way; and ‘The Great Train Show’, which will explore how trains stay on the tracks and why they hate hills! |

In addition to this visitors can meet some of the museum’s costumed characters. And if this is not enough don’t forget to pop into the gramophone shop or visit Abrahams 1930s sweet shop where you can exchange your pennies for traditional confectionary. |

It is open throughout the year from Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm. Please be advised that the museum is closed on Mondays, with the exception of Bank Holidays. |

Admission costs are £7.50 for adults, £6.50 for concessions, £4.25 for children and £21 for families (2+2). |
